Supports to load 36 custom LUTs
The LUT loading function makes the color calibration easier and more intuitive, optimizes the workflow and improves the work efficiency in the early stage of shooting. You could use built-in 4 types(S-Log2,s-Log3, C-Log, V-Log) or upload .cube files define your own creative cinematic style Whatever you like. The user stores the LUT document in the root directory of the USB flash drive, and insert to USB interface of the device (up to 36 custom files can be imported).

Dynamic HDR Monitoring
What you see is what you get
The HDR monitoring function delivers an extended dynamic range and richer image details. It generates the final HDR image by merging HDR frames that capture the optimal details of each exposure period, thus reproducing the visual effects of real-world scenes with greater accuracy. The device comes with built-in HLG 709, HLG P3 and HLG 2020 color standards. In Camera mode, it is also compatible with the gamma and color gamut effects corresponding to cameras of brands including RED, ARRI, Sony, Canon, Panasonic, Fujifilm and Bolex.

Accurate waveform monitoring

Built-in waveform monitoring, you can view two independent sources simultaneously and choose from waveform (RGB Parade, YUV Parade, Y Parade), vector scope, histogram, audio phase and level displays, and get broadcast accurate waveform monitoring that shows everything you need to know technically about your video and audio signals. The functions can be opened separately, and also support one key to open all scope mode. FRM173S becomes the ideal choice for live production monitoring,so you no longer need to use a separate expensive scopes!

SDI Time Code
FRM173S supports time code display under SDI signal, it is synchronization with the camera. It is particularly convenient to identify specific frame rates in film and video production.

Flexible and Intuitive Button Operation
Intuitive key operation allows directors and cinematographers to control the device effortlessly on the busy shooting set. The signal source can be switched with one click, and there are 4 customizable shortcut keys—cinematographers can pre-set the shortcut functions according to the actual needs of the shooting site and call up the required functions quickly during shooting, which greatly boosts shooting efficiency.

Rich Signal Interfaces
Equipped with 2 channel 3G-SDI, one HDMI1.3 and one HDMI 2.0 input and loop output interface,which support up to 2160p 60Hz video signal,compatible with camcorder and various DSLR or mirrorless camera.

Dynamic UMD
The monitor supports UMD of TSL 3.1/4.0 protocol, with 0-126 TSL address selection, and Max 16 letters displayed. The UMD input via RS485 input port and output via RS485 output port.

GPI Control
The FRM173S is equipped with a GPI control interface, which enables remote control via connection to a GPI console. The remote control functions can be customized in the monitor's GPI menu and switched using an external GPI controller.
